Mr. Cruz Torres is a highly regarded member of Honduran Society. He has held public offices with distinction, integrity and honor. He was the Minister of Labor and Social Foresight; served as a deputy to congress (Member of Parliament) for over 5 terms; was the first Secretary to the National Congress; Vice-President to the Constitutional Assembly who approved the current Constitution; more recently he has served as Director of the National Office of Contracts and Acquisitions of the government of Honduras; has held offices as a Supreme Court Magistrate and Advisor to the Secretary of Foreign Affairs.
Cruz Torres has been an attorney for more than 25 years.
